Guru Activist Index ETF

Fund Summary

The Global X Guru Activist Index ETF (ACTX) seeks to generate alpha over broad market indexes by investing in 50 of the top equity holdings of major activist investors in the United States.

Fund Objective

The Global X Guru Activist Index ETF seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Solactive Guru Activist Index.

Access Ideas

ACTX follows the investments of some of the largest and best known activists in the world, by utilizing publicly available information contained in 13F and 13D filings.

Alpha Potential

By investing alongside activists, ACTX seeks to benefit from their campaigns to unlock shareholder value and generate excess returns over US equity benchmarks such as the S&P 500.

Cost Efficiency

Traditionally, investing with an activist requires paying an ongoing 2% management fee and 20% of profits. ACTX has an expense ratio of 0.75%, potentially allowing for greater cost efficiency, while providing access to activist ideas.

The fund may invest in small capitalization companies, which have greater volatility and less financial resources than large-capitalization companies. Investments in the securities of foreign issuers (including investments in American Depositary Receipts (“ADRs”)) are subject to the risks associated with investing in those foreign markets, such as heightened risks of inflation or nationalization. In addition, securities of foreign issuers may lose value due to political, economic and geographic events affecting a foreign issuer or market. The fund invests in mid- and small-capitalization companies, which have greater volatility and less financial resources than large-capitalization companies. The Fund is nondiversified.
